I enjoyed this poem very much. It is drenched in sorrow, until it becomes a cry for the benefits of prayer. Apart from the calling to prayer, I particularly liked the image thrown up by:
"your life of gloom
... the head talk inside"

Prayer is always a good thing to work on! I like this line best:
when your soul sinks below
That has some nice, subtle 's' alliteration with soul, sinks, and also some long 'o' assonance with soul, below. Nice share on a free verse.
