Mildred is a quiet one, isn't she? Hmm. She never said a word to me!! You just can't get the characters these days! lol. Gladys is really looking forward to what's coming up, I think you will, too. She'd like to 'bump him off' lol, but she wants to torment him more. Us women do have that little 'revenge' streak in us. :))) Thank you, dear friend, for another of your fun reviews. I love them. Love you too, and sending big hugs! :)) Sandra xx

Ian is doing alright, fingers crossed and touching wood as I type. (that's quite difficult to do! lol) He gets his new feet on Friday, that has perked him up no end. I'll be speaking to him in a minute, I'll pass your message on. You are so sweet, my friend. Love you loads. xxx

Hello Sandra!
What an excellent and enjoyable read! I smiled throughout - especially at the thought of haunting the Venomous Asp in clear proximity to Winston Churchill. Oh! I do think you should create a place for me among all of those shenanigans. But of course, my laughter would give me away!
Your chapter moves along nicely. No hiccups whatsoever!

thank you for sharing!

I love the idea that Mildred could fall in love, although I can't see how it would work, especially as she has no say as to where she ends up, and when. I also love the idea of Veronica and Gladys causing chaos for Charles at Admiralty House. If it could be done in front of Winston Churchill, that's even better!

This was great Sandra. I really liked the way the three ladies were united in their goal to discredit the admiral. And having Tommy show affections for Mildred was a fantastic touch, as well as presenting his doubts and suspicions regarding his mother's fall. I do think Aunt Amelia will be a definite blessing. The fact that they are planning to make the admiral look like an idiot in front of Churchill is priceless. Fantastic job, hugs and smiles.

Very well written. I love the plotting going on. I can hardly wait to see how they haunt Venomous Asp in front of Winston Churchill. And Tommy and Mildred? What's up there? :)

You did a good job, Sandra, with this chapter. I enjoyed reading it. I like the part of the women discussing the Venomous Asp--great name for that murderer. I like the way you brought in Churchill, too. The use of the church for the patients was great. You added much detail there, too. I could see how that would work. Good job and thanks for sharing. Jan

Thank you so much, Jan. I really appreciate your lovely review. I'm glad you thought the detail in the church was good, it's nice to know when a reader can 'see' what I'm trying to show. It's so encouraging. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Hello Sandra, this is a good chapter, well written with drama, amusing intervals and some quite moving and slightly weird when, in the graveyard, Gladys points her finger and says "I'm over there" - clever touch. This read shows a writer with good imagination, technical knowledge and good humour - good qualities in a writer.
You just might have hit on something there...." Once again, a perfect ending to keep the reader asking for more. Well done Sandra. Dorothy xxx

Coming along nicely. I like the idea of making the VA look like a fool in front of superiors. They'll never take his advice after that!

whatever we do, it must be discrete <-- This spelling of 'discrete' means separate or single, like a discrete partical. You want 'discreet', which means private or secret.

I hate to admit it, at 72 and I didn't know that! :( Thank you for telling me, that's one error I won't make again!!
Thank you so much for the lovely 6 stars, my friend, and fabulous review. I woke up this morning with conjunctivitis, not nice. It's a tad hard to read. Luckily, I touch-type, and hope no errors come up my mistake. Big hugs, dear friend. xxx
