I absolutely loved every line of this. How very original...that the father came back as a salesman. Hilarious!! My favorite line...
'Get back in your earthly grave and leaveth me alone.' Brilliant!!!
Blessings...

I enjoyed your delightful rhyming in this - held me spellbound. A fantastic poem that grabs the reader from your first lines. Thank you for the large font! (smile).
This is absolutely hilarious, starting with "Craven". I loved all of it.
So this fellow from New Haven tried to sell me riboflavin--
(loved this one).
And these put a smile on my face:
Sorry, son" quoth long dead father, "but to me you are a bother--
Yes, indeed, for what you write is nothing but a bore."
"Sorry, Pop, you don't approve, but as you see, I'm in a groove--
Writing what I want whenever--worrying about you--never;
Craven--nevermore!
Write on! This was amazing.

You're "bit of silliness" is absolutely marvelous. A nod to 'Ole Poe himself! This is a joy to read and filled with descriptive creativity. I enjoyed this so much. Thanks for the smile you shared and enjoy that "riboflavin!" :)

First off I love the raven and is one of the few poems I have completely memorized. This homage to it was perfect and I loved the entire thing. The message of just do you is also always important this deserves six if I had any

Hahahah, whatever silliness, it made me chuckle all the way through.
I'll admit I'm no expert at poems. But I did enjoy reading yours tremendously, even if I can't help you with the technicalities of writing something like this.
Excellent work.
