Christine,
I love your Picture This challenge poem. One doesn't often think of the clock as holding many secrets yet it must for many talk by it. What a lovely point of view.
Blessings,
Darlene

Your poem captures the essence of time well. The clock has seen many a person stood beneath, all with a different tale to tell. Excellent rhyming and lovely imagery. Most enjoyable. faye

What a clever approach you took!
All the days, and all the folks
who've passed within its sphere -
some who've dashed and some who've glanced
and some who stop to chat.
The children who have no use for time
and the lovers who simply must kiss.
This clocked shared a moment
with them
and stored up the memories
inside :-)
Nice One!!

I enjoyed your take on the picture challenge. I like the POV you chose. I like that you are imagining what the grand old clock has seen and heard--then you give the reader an insight to some of those stories. Good job with the rhyme and flow. Thank you for sharing a great poem.
passer's by [no apostrophe--they do not own anything here].

I bet that clock could tell some stories of what all it's seen and heard. Very good way expressing the possibilities of people coming in contact with the time clock and the reasons they are there. Good aabb rhyme and flow to your poem. It's like the only stationary thing and the world revolves around its tic toc keeping everyone on schedule. Very nice.
