I enjoyed your poem. The presentation is great--the color scheme, the artwork, your format, and the way you expressed your feelings with well chosen words. Good job on the flow of lines. It reads nicely with a great message. Good job and thanks for sharing.

Such a lovely and inspiring poem. How lucky we are when there is someone in our life who loves unconditionally and reminds us that we are important. I think you did a good job capturing this sentiment. Hugs, Lou

This is an interesting poem that the author has created with this piece of writing. Love is both a blessing and a curse. we can't live with or without it.

Yes, some lucky person is hearing those words, simple words, that in reality are the offering every person on this earth waits to hear. Those little simple somethings, whispered in our ears. Thanks for another enjoyable poem. :-)

What a sweet poem, I love how you captured the meaning a person can bring to another. How just one person can fill an empty void and make a lonely person feel as if they were the center of the universe. Great poem.

This is a wonderful poem, Missy. I enjoyed it so much. It is worth a six star rating if I had one to give you. Your words apply to any reader with the hope of being so fortunate. These lines are especially nice:
"How do I thank someone for giving meaning to my life?
For lighting a candle in the darkness of my existence?" Marilyn/BeasPeas

Bravo Missy! Clap, clap, clap!!! :)
You're words have such true meaning. I feel that one small kind word from another person can change you're whole perspective in life. Sometimes we are just hanging by a thread and someone comes along and says just the right thing that we so desperately need to hear.
Your writing creates so much heartfelt emotions that truly brings joy to my day. Thank you for sharing such wonderful creations. It makes a difference.

Lovely words and thoughts, Missy. Most of your poetry centers on the many facets of love. I believe it's become your specialty.
"How do I thank someone for giving meaning to my life?
For lighting a candle in the darkness of my existence?"
Love carries us through the very worst life has to dole out. Your poetry is always hopeful and sometimes, a bit mysterious. Well done!

I have so many emotions, but I feel love most often. It is a burden at times when my love is left hanging!
Thank you, GLG for always being here for me :)

The three words with wich you conclude this poem are probably the most beautiful in the language and when augmented by "will always" become the most oft broken promise of all time.
But we must live, as this poem does, in the present even when it harks back to a time before the love in question was known. At that point the earlier part of the poem the language used is simple and almost prosaic. The poetry kicks in with the love in the last three stanzas. these are beautifully expressed.
