Hello poet friend. This was extremely romantic and filled with passion, many should enjoy it. I enjoy the beach as well, or the quietness of my study in the early morning. Nice poem, I enjoyed, Loyd

Naked is how we should all be since my writing of Naked Soul I had had so many layers removed hopefully never to return. We need to be naked and seen as we truly are

Wow, you could be writing this to anyone in the world or just for what it says, but there is no doubt that however many read it, they will all be thinking or wishing just maybe. Great job. :-)

Just don't lay naked in the sun. (burn, baby, burn). I remember those days I enjoyed being naked for my lover. The touch, the cologne , the kisses on bare skin. ..... (sigh).....
(Linda, snap out of it )
Words do have an effect on the body. Sensual phrases can make your body tingly and perky. I guess when the lover is not around a good book will do.
I absolutely adore the last two photos you used of the pale skin and the red lips.
awesome.

Now that's the girl I like to hear from. If I only didn't have one too many women in my life...
If you would have traded the length of lines 5 and 6, you would have a feminine form out of the body of the words as well.
Just noticed...

I love how you expressed your raw emotions in this. Your words reminded me of the things my boyfriend says to me. He's always asking me to let go and show myself to him ... all of me.
I'm not sure if you can relate to this, but I think most women feel vulnerable when it comes to letting down their wall. It's hard to put aside all the things about ourselves that make us feel ugly. I'm slowly letting down my wall and feeling free to let him see the real me.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful poem. I loved it!

You can always email me a photo, Missy, if this is really true. LOL.
Excellent expression of desire and the 'wantonness' to bare your heart (and other things) to this special person and object of your passion.
Best wishes, Ray xx

Comment from Tessa Kay
I like the way this poem ends. So many relationships are only skin deep, built on gratification, not appreciation. I like how the word naked changes from outside to inside. Nice job.
Wish I could go to the beach to write. It's only 25 minutes by car, but windy and freezing...

Comment from Dean Kuch
We are never more vulnerable than when we are completely naked. That's why there are so many shower scenes in horror films. Well that, and for the sake of gratuitous nudity, of course.
That being said, when you give your "all" to someone, when you bare your soul--open up to them emotionally and intimately--you are even more than vulnerable. You are in love...
Well done, Missy.
