This well written poem, that should be a good contest entry, clearly depicts that the world we live in is indeed in lots of trouble and it will take all of us working together to bring it back around again. Message hopefully does not fall on deaf ears because if it does this world may not survive. Well done.

The only cure for hate is love. The world is full of greed and those that want power to reign over the human race. Until good men take these men in hand, noting will ever change. This is a very well written poetic message that has compassion at its heart... John

This is an completely new way of looking at man's destruction of the earth .
It's gentle but it is harsh . The warning is clear and the words make sense not merely in the rhyming structure but in the plea to humanity

Nice poem and good addition to the contest...check the last sentence in the next to last stanza...should be "your one chance has begun". I really like the personification of the world here, particularly in the first several stanzas..."My world's eyes, my world's voice, my world's heart, etc..." works very well to make the reader empathize with the world's plight. Rhyme and meter work well.
