Haha. Lol. This is a fine piece of poetic art dear friend! I love the humor and and do actually think that writing in English is easier than in my native language.
Thank you for sharing!

I think the ambiguity of the English language is what makes it so fun, Rebecca. After all, it let us make a fun poem about it! Thanks for the review,
Rhonda

A clever and amusing poem about the vagaries of the English language. Good rhythm, rhyme and flow. Nice artwork. Well done.

This is an amusing poem about how English bemuses foreigners as well as native English speakers alike. There are so many words that are spelled differently and sound the same or spelled the same and mean different things.
Well done with showing all the grammar and spelling mistatkes we all still sometimes make.

Hi Fez, I love how you have written this marvelous poem. When you say the English language is difficult to learn, I have experience of teaching my Spanish friends and know how they do find it really hard. I do feel sorry for those who need to get the language off perfectly.
well written, a deserved six.

Thank you, Mary, for your generous 6 star review! I'm sure it is difficult trying to teach English to non native speakers. How confusing it must be for them. It is hard enough for all of us who speak and write in as natives. Apprecite the review,
Rhonda and Fez

I'm amused and not bemused. Your poem is exceptionally clever, unique and original. It is also very humerus, sorry I meant humorous. You two combine so well together that your individual stanzas flow seamlessly from one to the other.
An excellent and funny poem.
warm regards, wendy

Thank you, Wendy, for the very generous 6 star review! I appreciate the comment about the two of us flowing together well. I consider that the highest compliment, or is that complement? I am a newbie to writing poetry, and I greatly admire Fez's work, so, again, thanks,
Rhonda

I think most of us admire Fez and his ability to be humorous and always rhyme perfectly. But the honest truth is I could not have picked which half was written by which person. So the compliment is well deserved, Rhonda. xo

Thank you so much for that wonderful 6 stars!!! It is a wonderful thing to be highly recognized by your peers. The English language is fun, and all it's amibiguity makes it fun to manipulate as a poet. Thank you, again!

Thank you so much, Duchess, for your very kind review. I love the comment that the English language has a great deal to answer for. That is a very clever response. Thanks again,
Rhonda
Rhona, you're more than welcome. The English language is more than a little queer.
Best wishes, the Duchess

But it is lovely, none-the-less,
Rhonda
Rhonda, I couldn't agree with you more.

Your poem on English language is very amusing. A person whose mother tongue is English would always wonder why foreigners have difficulties with spelling. One has to put in their shoes to appreciate the problem. Despite such handicaps, English is a lovely language for all with a rider. When it comes to syllables, things for me turn out terrible. And without being an expert in syllable, in FS contest the result would always be miserable.:)-

I can relate to that! I try to avoid most poetry when not encouraged by my co writer Fez who is determined to turn me into a poet! At least in stories, no one is counting syllables and meter. Still and all, it's fun to learn new things.
Thanks for the review,
Rhonda
