yet another word picture of winter.I have never seen snow in my life!,but i have seen it in movies.I live in South India which is practically a hot region. Never snows. Winters are very very mild .but in some part of Northern India there is snow. of course there is no doubt that these lovely scenes are His creation.First line second stanza -should it be 'snow covered'?

I hope you do get to see and feel snow in your lifetime. I have always wanted to see India, perhaps we could trade places for a few days. LOL Thank you Sanku for this fine review. :-) Carolyn

This flowed very nice no need for a photo attached to feel the beauty of winter. Not one who thinks it was done by some Divine being but like many things one reads and enjoys, you appreciate the talent of the writer .. And you do have talent TK

Thank you TK, I have learned some good things while on FS from other talented folks, like yourself. I appreciate all you have said. I tried this one without a picture just to let everyone's minds-eye work. Glad you liked it like that.

I felt as though I were viewing the painting as I read your poem. Secondly I was able to see the landscape the artist drew his creation from. Third, I felt at home knowing it was all God's doing.
A great morning read with my cup-a-joe (actually second cup).
Nicely done, John

I thought this one would be good for each reader to paint the scene as they read. Thank you for letting me know it worked. I guess your area has had a lot of snow by now. We have had some, just enough for the grand kids to have a couple of snow-days. They should re-mane them snowman days.
Love you John, Carolyn

Actually we haven't had any snow yet. Not one flake... boring although my elevated age doesn't like the cold any longer. Still, a fresh snowfall does a lot for the heart and soul.

We had ice yesterday.... you won't escape forever my NJ Yankee friend. :-) Carolyn

Yes indeed. It does indeed make you think about the creator and his wonderful creations when you see s beautiful winter scene. I can still see the picture from your previous oem. Well done yet again.

Very smooth when read aloud or silent. The rhyming is flawless, your admiration of winter beauty, and your praise and thanks to God is very evident. Well done!!

Hi Carolyn,
I loved this poem and thought of the picture that used for your ABC poem.
The words in this poem matches to a "T" what the picture looks like. A very
good job in writing this poem.

I have to go to the clinic close to the end of February, to see what can be done about my daily headaches. I wish they'd look into other things too, like why I've been stumbling and why I get dizzy. Hopefully they'll be able to fix some things so I'll be healthier in 2015.

This is a great poem. Nice imagery, simply put together.
It is impossible to look at the beauty and splendour in nature and not believe that it has been crafted by accident.
This is very nicely done.

Beautifully expressed poem Carolyn in abcb, rhyming, and even though the syllable count isn't even, it really reads evenly, well done, beautifully scribed my friend with all the skill of a wordsmith, I love these poems about the creative greatness of our God, and yet He doesn't show off He's quite comfortable, with Himself! well projected with great descriptive imagery, well done, HNY BLESSINGS, Roy.
