This is an awesome poem! I love the whimsical rhyming and short nature of it! The photo also pairs amazingly with the poetry! Nice!

Ha ha LOL good entry for such a competition, Roy. I love the cartoon picture you chose, and the look on the woman's face. She doesn't look as if her heart is in parenting! LOL The very best of luck with your entry, Giddy

A tale of sorrow "Darling Miss Muppet" This poem you have created here is a reminder that nothing is really as it seems. There are always underlying currents to be found. Well done. Merry Xmas.

Roy very funnnnnnnny poem.
I flows well. I liked the twist at the end,
I didn't see anything that needs to be changed.
The picture seems to go right along with the poem. I think it is a very good write.

It' is an eligible contest entry. Wise descriptive phrase and picture. What a rhyme scheme:
"Even you will deduce
in her tank there's no juice "
Hearty wishes to win :)

Hahahaha - what an unusual twist, Roy - this is so cute. I wonder if Miss Muppet has met the spider yet? (LOL!) Perfect rhyme and great meter give this just the lilt it needs to suit the topic - well done! Merry Christmas.

It is rare that I visit this site these days because a five-star review is taken for granted by most participants and offering constructive criticism is a no-no. However I do read the occasional poem and review about 10% of what I read.
Humorous poetry is slightly easier to write than humorous prose because you only need one punch line in poetry while prose usually demands more.
I did get a laugh from your post but assess your rhymes to be forced and thus they dictate where the poem goes. I award a five-star assessment but suggest you develop the means to hide forced rhyming or, eliminate the need for it by working harder.

Thanks for the review, I won't defend myself! I've often wondered what forced means, pretty academic don't you think?
