Ouch. I certainly wouldn't want that owl observing me. He looks like he means serious business. The unsuspecting prey is, no doubt about it, going to become dinner very shortly.
This has a lot of passion in it. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you - love the word "passion" As that is how I see the survival of owls.

I like your ' nature 3-5-3' contest entry! This is a limiting poetic form, you have to come up with an " out of the ordinary " entry, I like this one however, with its attractive artwork, I hope you fare well in this contest, well done, good luck, blessings, Roy.

Oh! I love that word "talent." Even though this is a haiku and not a senyru, I'm extremely pleased with this review. Thank you.

Very dramatic and vivid imagery of the owl's big round eyes in his turning head, stalking the prey, before it springs into action and grabs it with its talons.
Excellent.
Best wishes, Ray

Talons not only sharp-this nocturnal predator's senses also sharp in a different context;
Fear for the night creatures who are in this great bird's sights;
Excellent!

A wild-looking specimen of a nocturnal bird that has a sharp focus and with tenacity snatches there prey with little care.
Their ruthless and relentless claws are fatal.

Exactly, I felt I needed to write a true haiku about nature. Thank you, for "getting" my meaning.

This picture is impressive because the owl actually looks like it sees something it wants and it looks so determined. Great job friend
