I have been 'post' fifty for a while but don't feel it. I am so glad you enjoyed this one. Have a great day, :-) Carolyn

This is an interesting poem. I am fast approaching fifty myself and it seems to be not too bad yet. The waistline is in jeopardy but I am still fighting the battle of the bulge. Some things get worse but some are getting better as well. Thank you for this post.

Yes, we do tend to 'travel south' in our physique, especially around the middle. I am glad you enjoyed this one. :-) Carolyn

How wonderfully you captured in just three lines the phobias of aging! such gentle assurance is very essential to face aging courageously and happily.Very sweetly written carolyn:)

Hi Carolyn,

This is a nice poem that I enjoyed along with your author notes. When a person gets over 70, like me, they're really blessed. I'll turn 77 in April. Whew!

Carolyn, this is a fun 5-7-5 that pokes a joke on those of us who are boomers. We can take it. LOL It has perfect syllable and line count with the Ahh moment at the end. Well done. :0 GracieAnn

For mature cheese and vintage wine - the older the better. I like how you compare ageing with these two, after all ageing is not a bad thing. We should try and age gracefully. Well done. Emeka

Ah, yes very gently. Hahaha. Nice Haiku, with count of 5-7-5. I like the thought of aging gently. I am well over 50. LOL> Miss Sally

I am 'well' post fifty myself. You know Miss Sally, I enjoy this age. Not necessarily what I see in the mirror. But the sense of well being. Thank you for this wonderful review. :-) Carolyn

Carolyn,

LOL ... "Gentle aging please". Yes, every morning it is a surprise party when I look into the mirror. I never know what I will find. :) We do have much to be thankful for, and hope that we age gently.

I like your comparison to fine wine and cheese.

Hugs,
Connie
