I commend you for not attaching any artwork to your 5-7-5! This poem is strong and stands on its own nicely. Yes, a winter experience - one that many have lived. Many of us are good and sick of Frost and his antics!

Car frozen solid I must ride the bus to work Jack Frost's such a jerk ...or thank God there is a bus so I don't have to walk to work...and Jack Frost remains a jerk.

I love the poem. Jack Frost has been really mean this year. He has been hard on the east coast especially. It is rough when you have a car but still have to brave the cold. The car let you down. Great work. Good luck with the contest.

Yes, the winter has been awful. Jack Frost and Old Man Winter seem to have teamed up, and they're being real jerks. LOL Glad you liked my poem. Thanks for the wonderful review.

Here in central California we've had a ton of warmth this winter, but I know the rest of the country is suffering! Your poem paints the sentiments perfectly. There are many winter gripes in the pieces being posted lately. Thanks for sharing a slice of life I'm not aware of. Good luck in the contest.

Are you sure it's not the govt? If you watch 'Conspiricy Theory' it could be those guys at haarp. They say it's a weather station, but who ever heard of a top secret weather station? LOL I think Mother Nature and Old Man Winter are mad at us. Glad I gave you a chuckle. Thanks for the five.
