I enjoyed your poem very much. It created a perfect image in my imagination. I just recently wrote my first 5-7-5 poem and have a greater appreciation how difficult it can be to create the mood and image you want with so few words.

This is beautiful. The peony is one of favourite flower bushes, along with hydrangea and rhododendrons! Your presentation gives the reader the dose of pretty pink that is promised in the title! Perfect syl. count. Good luck in this contest.

Good haiku on display here. The nature theme is obvious, and nicely selected, may I add. But, I think the quality lies in your carefully selected words. You don't get much freedom with these formats, so I admire what poets like yourself can do with 17 syllables.
peony petals: nice use of alliteration
explode in wild abandon: active voice, with great imagery about the immediacy of a flourishing floral display
perfect decadence: the pinky princess imagery of the colour and the profusion of growth suggests just that; excess, but it's nice.
Good writing; terrific presentation with art work and colour for the background.
