Cute - a recipe I also use often with lots of fresh ground pepper - love the picture - a chicken with attitude on his way to the chophouse.

Isn't that picture a hoot? And yes, I season the chicken with lots of salt and pepper. It's late but these chicken reviews are making me hungry. Thank you so much for the wonderful review.

Wow, that sounds delish... What time do we eat?
Dinner over at Carolyn's... Fried chicken's a special treat!!
It does sound good. I'm more used to the fried chicken cutlets, ala Italian style. Capish?
Fun read, John

This is a great little verse and a really good recipe. I wonder what this chicken is thinking as it looks over the syllable count. Nicely done and I tank you so much for sharing this with me.

Greeat haiku, great sounding recipe, Carolyn must try out. I do something very similar marinating with seasoned yogurt, then coating it with a crispy seasoned flour mix I always have ready. Pan fry until golden on all sides. Arrange in a baking dish and cook in a sauce made up of the balance marinade, sliced button mushrooms and chopped tomatoes. Served with steamed basmathi rice piping hot and a fresh green salad as we are all trying to cut down on our weights.
Good luck in the contest,
Sylvia

Yum, your chicken sounds great. I use this base quite often for a number of recipes. I do a smothered chicken and have even used pork chops or cutlets. Mushrooms make any dish into a gourmet delight. Thanks for the good wishes, Love, :-) Carolyn

The eating and smacking part is especially good. LOL Wish I were closer, I would cook anything you're little heart (and tummy) desired. Take care, glad you liked the write. Love, Carolyn

You need to kill the thing first, remove all the feathers and then follow your instructions. Let's eat. .) Well done. Good luck in the contest.

I normally go to the grocer.. although I do remember the day my Mother killed them, and I learned to clean and cut up a chicken early in life. Thanks for the fun review Ben, :-) Carolyn

Thank you for such a fine write. I was just funning with you. I thought you would probably get the 3 or 4 star phantom and his unkind remarks and thought I would get you to smile. Blessings
