This a pity you never finished it though,ss now you are grown and over it maybe you could re-work it and turn the music into something slow and not so up beat. A true love song here my dear friend. Sorry I been away for so long please forgive me. Life has been dishing out some rough spots but working through it one day at a time.

This comes across much more like a song. It is a very nice one too, full of feeling.

Yes. It is a song. It is from back in the day. Everything you are saying is right on the money. We weren't exactly apart but, I found it difficult to really express my feelings for her. I could always sing or write about something better than I could say it. Thank you for your insightful comments, mikey`

Do you know what I like about this? Yes, it is nice when you sound so strong and confidant, but we women always love to see the vulnerable side of a man once in a while. I remember reading this before but hearing you sing it makes all the difference. You have a lovely voice and hearing this put to music makes a tremendous difference. I agree totally. That fear of rejection is a strong thing even when it is irrational. I am so confident of everything else. Ha! Doesn't help me shuffling my feet mumbling to a pretty girl. Good points and nice words. Thank you very much, mikey

That is ironic. ha! My mom bless her heart was tone deaf. She used to sing Happy Birthday with one note all the way through. Very entertaining. It is an impossible task to put it into words. But, it gives us poets plenty to do! thank you kindly, mike
