I wanted to hit the skip button on this review but then I said to myself no! Tell the author of this poem two things. First, he/she convinced me by the message of the write how horrible this situation is; second, that he/she has a mission further to do. Write more of this horror and what must be done to rid the world of this tragedy. Write on author.

The poem is powerful with a story that occurs with horrifying frequency. The woman in the story is typical of the abused and battered victim of a man's uncontrolled wrath. Does he feel justified or is he just plain evil? The protagonist in the story feels that somehow she is the blame. She is at fault for the abuse...sad, very sad.
