This is a beautiful poem, with so much love and emotion in it. Makes one want to cry... I definitely had a lump in my throat by the time I finished reading.

Hi Dawn, Bravo! This sonnet is gorgeous and perfect in every way. I can feel Michael's style blended with your own, and it's a perfect fit. If I had to pick a favorite line it would be this: "O Michael, let thy whispers ride the wind," That is so Jarls! You've captured grief, but hope as well in your beautifully crafted poem. I know he would have loved this. (And he loved you too) - Karen

I know he did and still does. That kind of friendship love last for eternity. I miss him though but it does get easier with each passing day. I really appreciate your review and those pretty stars, you're a gem.

This is absolutely beautiful, dearest sister---and I am sure Michael adores it. the meter is flawless and you use enjambement to excellent effect, especially incorporating it on the turn in ninth line.
The tone and theme is lovely, touching and elevating.
definitely capture's Michael's style with a hint of your own well blended.
Love this-
embraced by peace once searched for but not found,
yet overflows in paradise above.
I would recommend a comma here:
Until then(,) bathe me, let thy words surround
the presentation is stunning with Angelheart's beautiful artwork and a fine color choice to accent it well.
Bravo and good luck. A strong contender for sure.
Love, rd

Thank you, dearest, I added that comma as you suggested. Angelheart has the most stunning artwork, I love visiting her profile, one can almost always find a perfect fit there for anything emotional. Not sure about the contender part as I've read a couple that are very strong. I wasn't even sure I could find any words at all but I didn't want to let him down. Thanks so much for your kindness sister. Love ya, JL

This is an excellently written traditional sonnet with all the thees and thous in the right place. good job, I wouldn't even know where to begin. this style is very hard for me, but you seem to have made it look so easy, the flow is smooth and the verses make sense. I don't have to stop and go, "hmmm, what did she say?" scratching my head.
