Excellent input about a fascinating big cat. I love the watch them from a distance, ie on TV

It's always good to know your animals strengths.

Enjoyed this very much. :)

Great picture of the Jaguar. Their coat is beautiful.
Very nice description of their habitat and home. While they are big and beautiful, I wouldn't want to encounter one.

Nicely done Cecilia.

    Janet,

Thank you for the wonderful review. I am with you, I would not want to come face to face with one of these big cats.

There lies the problem...These animals live and thrive in their own habitat but then humans come along and either hunt them for fun or destroy the land where they live. So sad!

    Carol,

Thank you for the wonderful review. Yes, man and his greed is always going to win. I don't think they ever considered what they are destroying and if they do they don't care.

It's a beautiful creature and unlike the other big cats , it loves water.

Its jaw can crush skulls of caimans double their size , its their favourite prey.

It's sad that poachers hunt them for their beautiful hides.

These cats are graceful, powerful and having one leap whilst snarling is a great logo for a sports car.

Great addition to your wildlife series of animals endangered.

    Tempeste,

Thank you for the wonderful review my friend. Right now they are holding their own, but if man keeps destroying their habitat they could very well end up on the endangered list.

That’s what irks me the most .. why do we created these critical issues in the first place

And then others must fight against time to save them .

It's like customers. The people destroying the land feel entitled.

They are such a magnificent looking cat, and it would be a shame if they disappeared because of man, animals such as these need to be preserved for future generations to admire, very well written****kahpot

    Kahpot,

Thank you for the wonderful review. Right now they are holding their own, but if man doesn't quit the destruction of their habitat they could very well end up on the endangered list.

When it comes to the Wildcats, this is a very beautiful one and I very much enjoyed listening to it. I do hope that it does not ever become extinct because it is such a beautiful animal. Thanks for sharing this with us. Patricia.

    Patricia,

Thank you for the wonderful review. This big cat is on the near threatened list. If they keep tearing up their habitat it could very well become extinct like the rest of them.

This poem, Jaguars, presented with five AABB-rhymed quatrains, allows that the population is okay for now but subject to decline without intercession.

    Bill,

Thank you for the wonderful review. If man continues to destroy their habitat and prey they could very well end up on the extinct animals list. Greed is the root of all evil.

Sooner or later the trees will fall
Money rules
It may be another century but where May has been habitat has been threatened
Why hasn't God allowed them to adapt?

    Tom,

Thank you for the wonderful review. I have often wondered that myself. Maybe they aren't meant to survive. We will be dead when that happens anyway.

I am a cat lover as you know, my friend.
And a devoted dogdad but this is about cats.
The big cats are amazing creatures and I know that inside all three of mine, a tiger roars.
Beautiful picture you found as well.

    Tim,

Thank you for the great review. Yes, you love your cats. How would you like a pet Jaguar? That would make for interesting times.

I would adore it, but at the same time, i wouldn't want to limit such a magnificent creature to the restrictions of my home, they need the wild, big cats as pets, as with other similar large wild animals is not right.

You are correct. The big cats need to stay in the wild where they can roam free.

They were here first. I am against zoos by the way. Caging up animals for our pleasure. You write a nice tribute to these beautiful animals. Karen :-)

    Karen,

Thank you for the nice review. I don't feel wild animals should be caged either. You want to see them go on safari.
