I can definitely feel Tyler and Rebekah's connection going stronger and Rebekah may very well be starting to feel an attraction towards him. This is another engaging chapter, Barbara, I really enjoyed reading it.

I think you're weaving a a really good plot with the base of a betrayed writer in Rebeka, an ER doctor, an adopted five year old niece, tha aforementioned betrayer Personal assistant and a sound base for a good plot. Well done, blessings Roy

This looks like it is going to be a good one, Barb. It looks like you are a dog person. Dogs always are a positive addition to the story. We are having some bad weather here in Maine.

Yes, I am a dog person. All my novels except my first one have at least one dog in it. I'm considering going back and adding one. LOL Thank you for the kind review.

I am all discombobulated. Out of order! I have to go back and finish the last book. Eeesh.
I do like this characters although Rebeka seems less innocent and has more of her nose up than your other female characters. Or am I off? We shall see.
Tee hee

Perfection sweetie pie. How you manage to make things so sweet without being cloying is a mystery to me. I would be putting everyone into diabetic shock. Carol Hillenberger still has the nasty flu, I just wrote a poem on her trevails and mine. Hope you like it. Karen

Hi Barbara,
Sorry, but this is the first of your chapters I've read on this book. I like the fun atmosphere of it. You still have the old-fashion atmosphere where innocence is the order of the day. I appreciate it. This time you have a doctor for your protagonist, and that's different.
Great job, my friend,
Hugs,
Rhonda

I predict that there will one day be a strong relationship here. I suspect Rebeka's father may pose a potential problem, but a strict father is no match when it comes to the determination of an adult daughter who is capable of making her own income and does not need his support.

Rebeka's father is unreal. Thank you for the kind review.

I have raised two adult daughters and one adult grand daughter. I was was asked for my opinions but I relied on the lessons I had taught them as tehy were growing up. Each one learned to say to me, "Daddy you were right."

I do understand. I only raised sons. I've heard that boys are more difficult when they're young, but as teenagers' girls are more difficult.

Lots of introspection and conversation between the two. You are easing them into knowing each other and showing that both are good people at their core, helpful, patient and kind. You're also, showcasing faith in God.
I think your fans will appreciate that you're sticking with the story formula they've come to adore.

I've written before about my eye problems, but I had no difficulty with this. I think the dark print was a help, too. Fascinating story. I can't believe that people have hair that long as Rebeka's, but they do. No matter what Father thinks, she could tweak her looks a bit and still look proper. I hope she stands up to him at some point. He sounds totally controlling. Loved the little prayer that Lily said. I'm sure she'll approve if Tyler and Rebeka get together. It looks like Rebeka may be stuck there for a while. The weather and the condition of her car make that a possibility. This is off to a great start. judi

You're welcome. I believe I mentioned knowing of a young girl who was something of a prodigy. I lost track of what happened to her. judi
