This is very interesting. So the girls got their wish after all .How long can the parents resist their heart felt plea?
How does LC get on with the Phoebe?
The girls would surely have fun with a kitten and puppy?

Thank you for the support. As of last Sunday, LC and Phoebe got along very well. We'll see what this week holds.

Phoebe will be a wonderful addition to the family, I just hope she is house-trained quickly. The girls will learn how unconditional and wonderful the love of a dog can be. Lots of stories coming, I'm sure. Thanks for sharing about their exciting new addition to the family

Hello Barbara,
oh no, she's not house broken yet? I was so glad when Rigby got house broken. That being said, when he was old, he got Cushing's disease and would drink bowls full of water, and though we took him out before bed, he always peed on the floor during the night. It frustrated me, but I understood. I'm sure the girls are going to have a lot of wonderful adventures with Phoebe. I think all kids should have a dog. They are wonderful companions. Thanks for sharing this.
Have a blessed evening.
Tom

One thing becomes abundantly clear right away. No one is going to be bored anytime soon. I am not able to predict the future but I do believe the opportunity for all sorts of exciting drama is in the foreseeable future. Brace yourself and hold on.

Barbara,

What a great story. I see your son gave in and got them a dog. That's a great thing. All kids should have a dog growing up. I enjoy the stories about your family.

Well done my friend

Cecilia

Yes, kids have to have a dog. Phoebe sounds great, but given her background she'll surely be a big one. On the Puppy Bowl, they have their doggie DNA tested, and can tell what breeds they are. I can see Phoebe having her own clothing line in the future. Maybe the girls can design them. She looks awfully cute in what she's wearing. I look forward to more Phoebe stories. judi

Your granddaughters are adorable! So is Phoebe but Eleanor as a four-year-old knows to think about LC and make sure the kitty's feelings are not hurt. And she offers to clean up the doggie doo AFTER Phoebe learns to go outside. Lol. So smart! I hope the whole family enjoys their pets and gets into an easy routine of pet care.

There are guaranteed to be many tales to tell with Phoebe, I'm sure. Not to mention pictures of all her many outfits. I think all children should grow up with pets and be involved in their care. It's wonderful learning for later. Thank you for sharing your enjoyable introduction to Phoebe, Barbara. Take care Debbie

This is such a warm chapter! The way you capture the girls excitement and their different reactions is wonderful. I can already see the fun (and chaos!) that Phoebe will bring to their lives. The conversational tone makes it feel like we're hearing this story from a friend. And I love how you set up the promise of more adventures to come. Looking forward to more Phoebe stories!

I can't imagine there won't be more stories. I know the girls and have owned numerous puppies in my life. It's a mix for excitement and love. Thank you for the kind review.

You can do DNA tests on dogs now which tell you every breed the dog is made of. My daughter did so with her dog, and it is a mix of 5 breeds!

How is Phoebe getting along with Little Cat?

You could do what Wendy does, and tell stories from the dog's POV.

Thanks for the update, Barbara.

I could. So far Phoebe and the LC get along great. I've heard those dog DNA tests are only slightly accurate. Thank you for the kind review. "Dog DNA tests are revolutionizing how we approach our pets' health and aging. These tests provide critical insights into your dog's genetic health risks and biological age, enabling proactive care and tailored health plans. However, it's important to understand that while these tests offer valuable health and age information, breed identification results are inconsistent and provide little accuracy."
