This is a excellent poem Roy. One that portrays a very powerful faith following. And God's Almighty hand will hand will guide and walk by ones side. Faith leading one toward the light in love and song. Beautifully written Roy. Your repeated refrain is placed perfectly through and strengthen the message within.
Well done,
Nicki

A nice departure from your usual style. I really enjoyed this piece, Roy. It could easily be set to music (and maybe you already have done so?) -- the cadence matches almost perfectly to the tune of "New Hampshire Alma Mater" which you can find online, and is probably from an older tune. Your formatting is nicely done as well.

Thanks for sharing and best regards,

This is very well written with a wonderful meaning. I love the final lines;
They're led and they are guided by Father's mighty hand. It was outstanding to me because I could see, in my mind, the marchers.

Interesting take. Well written and thought out. I had one line that seemed a bit not right, it was... NO MOUNTAIN BAR THEIR WAY. Seems like it should read mountainS or no mountain barS their way. idk. maybe it is right as is.
Well done

This is an incredible poem, Roy, the rhythm was perfect for the words. I always thought that about the song, 'Onward Christian Soldiers' it also had the rhythm of people marching, as does yours. I love the words: They walked as one, perfected.... Christian people do all walk as one, heading towards the Glory that is God. Well done, my friend. Superb. Love and hugs, Sandra xxx

Oh, you promoted higher. I opened it when it was at 52 cents.
I love your song of unity for God's people! My favorite verse was:
"I SAW A PEOPLE MARCHING,
ONE VOICE, ONE ANTHEM RAISED,
THE LOVE OF GOD THEIR MANTLE,
THEIR CLOTHING WAS THIER PRAISE," (THEIR)
I hope we can have more unity while we are still on Earth.

That would be a sight to see! I wish we could see people marching in unison like that. We certainly don't see that in the U.S. If people are marching here, that usually means they're carrying picket signs, protecting something or other. Your marching theme reminds me of Martin Luther King and his great march in Washington, DC. He wanted to bring unity to all people. I like the repetition of I saw a people marching, and your rhyme is excellent. Wonderful thought to consider and hope for. judi

The author's words are clear, descriptive and creative. Thank you for the
author's notes - as always, they go so well with the theme of this poem.
As I read this poem I thought about how God is present in every part of
our lives. The poem flows and connects well. The artwork is awesome!
Great Poem, Roy!

If this isn't set to music, it needs to be. I could imagine this being sung like "the Saints Go Marching In". It was up beat and full of wonderful energy. Beautiful and inspiring. Gretchen
