This is a very beautiful, well written and true poem you have penned for the contest Summarize! I really love your last two lines:
And don't forget who loves you most
The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

I wish you well in this contest. Teri

This summary of the Bible does a lot for the action aspects of the book. Instead of just being a "what happened" book, it is also a "what will happen" and how are we involved.

I praise you for the book you are reading. I praise you for sharing well written details when others don't personally have at their fingertips the printed published book. I love reading the Bible as much as you do. Praise God!

Well, this must have taken a lot of effort. I can tell your faith is full of testimony which believers should pass on, like you have done here.
Nothing more to say.

Doesn't the Ethiopian Bible have the original 81? It's only by faith that we Protestants cling to the 66. The Catholic Bible has 73, and the Greek and Russian Orthodox have 79. This is part of the reason organized religion is so tough. Who's a believer, and who's a heretic? You have pretty much layed out the whole 66 in your poem. I could not do that. Great job.

A light to my feet, a pathway to eternal life. Is it not amazing that the Apostle Paul wrote our instructions from a prison cell 2000 years ago and we live by this day. God is so good. Sending blessing your way.

Very well done. You have brought up some of the most interesting parts of the Bible, and although I've read quite a bit of the Bible, I still marvel at what I've read. I wish your the best in the contest.

Mystery poet, six stars for this FANTASTIC rhyming poem of my favorite book of all time: The Bible! My favorite chapters are: Genesis, Daniel, Ruth, Job, Joel, Psalms, Song of Solomon. The gospels, the Epistles, I Thessalonians, James, Jude, and, of course, Revelation. It's all wonderful, God-breathed, full of history, genelogy, miracles, promises, poetry, praise, prayers, the good news of the gospel of Christ, how to be saved, and a plethora of good advice. It also 1/3 prophecy of what has happened and what is to come. The Bible's accuracy is astounding. Thank you for shy and beautifully illustrated too. Sending you my best today as always and best wishes for the upcoming contest.
Sally Law :)) xoxo

Hi Sally, this prompt called for a summary only in a poem. I wish I could have added so much more of what I love about the Bible, but I had to follow instructions. I appreciate all the parts you added, it just isn't possible in a 8 syllable per line rhyming poem. So I mentioned many parts, but focused mostly on Jesus, the most important gift from God.

Thanks for the kind words and the six stars, my friend.
