People like that are not the norm these days but they are out there. It gives me hope when I run across one. Society has forgotten how to be courteous and empathetic. Lessons that i hope will start coming back very soon. Great story Very positive.

I no longer sell online but used to on ebay. You really must be careful so I'm glad these went well. I've always found people can surprise on a good way. This was well written and interesting to read. Best wishes, Alex

What lovely stories! I have always believed that most people are good and, when the situation arises, gladly show it.
My experiences are smaller but no less heartwarming. I live in an apartment building and, a few times, someone has gone in the side entrance ahead of me and let the door close, so I've had to reach for my key. When I enter so soon behind the other person, and they realize what happened, I will often receive a sincere apology for their having let the door shut, even though they genuinely didn't realize I was behind them.
Yes, there are some bad apples in the world and, sadly, theirs are the stories that get publicized. I'm so glad you've described two very nice and faith-affirming situations. Your stories very definitely made me smile--not with surprise, but with recognition of the good people in this world.
