I'm surprised you didn't have a picture, a visual of the mountains, pagodas, etc. to illustrate what you're referring to in the poem. Beautiful imagery. Great job of fulfilling the requirements for the QIYAN JUEU form. Yes, great architecture does mirror nature. That's synchronicity. The red and black is a bit much for my eyes. I have been using special drops six times a day for my sensitive eyes. I'm about halfway the treatment, which lasts eight weeks. judi

I did have one, but, for inexplicable reasons, it didn't transfer when I originally posted. I contacted tge FS Powers That Be, though, and now the image has joined the words. All is right again with the world!

Well done - and by not using an image you compel the reader to use his/her own imagination, which I think is preferable. The words should be enough to convey the writer's intention, and yours are. I enjoyed your thoughts here.

Oh? Can you edit it, and reinsert an image? I do sometimes think poets depend too much on an image - having said that, my next poem has an image to go with it!

This is nicely worded when you listen to it however, I cannot see it to read it because the black on the red just does not show up with my vision problems. Maybe if you lighten the background to a tan or something like that it might help for more reviews.

At the time I reviewed it,it did not show the image that you used with it. I understand why you used the color you used.

I know!! I was so baffled about that. I contacted Tom, who righted the situation, though, but it took a good five reviews before that happened.
