I love the rhyming and the message. What a beautiful work. I can feel the anguish and the unfairness of it all. Looking forward to reading more of your work.

Harry, this is a wonderful rhyming poem on the state of the world and peace. Personally, I don't think people can have peace unless they have it within and in the Lord. Only then will we find true peace. Just my thoughts in a nutshell. Thanks you for sharing.
Sending you my best today as always, and blessings for your day.

I love this poem. It's so emotional, and a little dark, but I guess that's reality these days. The rhyming doesn't feel at all pushed and it flows really well. I honestly don't have much for feedback. Thank you so much for sharing.

Excellent poem about ending wars and the devastating that comes with it.
Ukraine comes to mind but there are more around the word.
Well done!

This is heartbreaking to read Harry because it is so true of our world at thistime in our history.
My blistered soul keeps yearning
For the babies who are still crying
Those lines in particular are wrenching. Well done.

We have been at war since Adam and Eve chose to defy God in the Garden. There has never been a moment in history when we have not fought one another.
Your poem is a passionate one in which you ask a lot of questions few, if any, have the answers to.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us through your words.

Thank you so much Pam for your kind review. I truly appreciate that. And yes, you are so right. I have read the new testament and the old testament from front to back and it is very interesting how it mentions just what you said. There will always be "Wars and rumours of wars."

Your words convey a deep, deep message that we all need to learn. I truly respect those that serve. Several of my family members have served. The sacrifices that they make for us can never be repaid and the way our service people are treated is disgusting.

Thank you so much Monica for your review. I truly appreciate it. And yes, after having served in the military for more than 27 years - I truly agree with you about how service people are treated and a lot of it was due to Mr. Obama, who almost destroyed housing for most enlisted people.

Your words resonate with me. Why does mankind refuse to face facts? Refuse to see? Why are people so reluctant to offer genuine care and compassion for one another, preferring to live selfish lives? Well said.

Comment from Rene Tyo
This is a very strong well written poem. It asks questions that many of us likely think of from time to time. I don't have the answers that this poem seeks. However, it is a great example of making people ponder if there is a better way, and what we have to do to achieve it. Well done.

Well, thank you Rene. I truly appreciate the fact that you caught the meaning here. Some didn't and that surprised me.
