Hi Debi,
I've tried responding to this post twice and both times I've wiped out my response with my fat, clumsy fingers. Perhaps God is letting me know I have little to offer to your post. Thank you for your boldness and your love for your family and humanity as a whole. I've kind of fallen down on my prayer time while I'm dealing with this illness, but I'll strive to remember to keep you in my prayers, that you will be healed quickly and totally.

Wow sis, this is a wonderful piece that reminds us that New Year's resolutions are great soul reformations are better. You reminded us that we need transformation and this only comes through Jesus. Hey, thanks Dan. I am so glad to see you. I ended up getting so many great responses, but was not willing to back down for my faith. After all that is our foundation, dear brother. It is so good to see you.
Have you heard from Pam lately? I hope you have the happiest New Year and that you and Kathy will be healthy too. Guess what? I have covid again. So I have been under the weather, even tho I was sleeping when God woke me up to do this one. You know how that is when He puts something in your head and won't let you do anything else until you obey. Thanks for the six stars as well!!

Yep, that's one thing we Christians have to keep in mind, that unforgiveness is not an option, we must forgive to have any chance of making into Heaven, I love this, I think we all have doubts about our efforts concerning zeal...or lack of it. Beautifully written Debi, blessings Roy,

It's clear this comes from your Christian heart, and your intentions speak with a nonjudgmental worry that many have not yet seen what you know to be true. There is much evil in this world, and so many are blinded by it, packaged as it is with a red bow and tempting "perks" that they forget there is but one way to salvation. We are all sinners. We must never forget to reconcile our behavior with what the Bible teaches. God is loving and forgiving. I believe that with all of my heart and soul. This does not mean we get a "free pass" when we are coaxed by satan (little "s" no respect) ~ to transgress against our Lord. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Perhaps we can all "resolve" to look out for our fellow man and help him/her find their way, as we would want them to do for us!

Thanks so much for the great review. You have no idea how much I appreciate it. I really wanted to have this one count for something today, and it did make it to the 26 reviews. So I am happy it will get my last ATB of the year. Tomorrow I go in my portfolio and start cleaning it up.
I pray I can resist the need to write something. Maybe one thing a week. We will see. Anyway, thanks again for the awesome review.

I know our world seems to be going crazy, me included. When I was young, I used to think I was a good person, but I'm not so sure anymore.
However, I want to think that God is merciful. If I was God, I don't know what I'd do with a serial killer, a rapist or somebody who is killing innocent kids in a war, but I hope he will cut the rest of us, average mortals, some slack.
Don't you think we try to do our best most of the time? Although we hurt others, even our families, it's usually not intentionally.

My dearest Maria, you are a tremendously wonderful person. And you are kind and loving. I happen to know your granddaughter pretty good now, (big smile) and she gets her demeanor I bet from her grandma. And that is pure goodness.
However, my belief is that we must turn away from what the world wants for us and cling to Jesus and not let anything be more important than Him,, is that how you kind of see it too?
