Your picture, as always is a thing of beauty all by itself. The font is well chosen. You write of a deeply felt yearning. All kudos to you. Enjoy the new year. Karen

A fascinating tree, the Weeping Willow. I like standing under them and pondering why it is they seem to weep.Perhaps like us, there are deep rooted issues that are yet to be resolved. Beautiful and nostalgic post, at least for me.

It's sad when the roots are deep in sorrow. Some people are like that - they can't get over some deep hurt or grief from the past and won't reach out to fresh new perspectives to grow anew. Well done with your haiku!

Thank you very much, big sister. I am sorry it took so long. I haven't been in fanstory a lot lately.

Gypsy,

Your blue themed poem has good phrasing and artwork. Yes, sometimes the sunset has that blue haze.

Another good addition to your book.

Best wishes for a happy, healthy New Year.

Mark

Excellent, I really like the all-round sadness of this haiku, weeping, alone, and sorrow, the dark presentation it is a wonderful presentation, very well written, "5/7/5 Poem
A chapter in the book 2024 Gypsy's Haiku" this is where I got confused

I like the linking together of the weeping with the deep roots of sorrow, and also the sense of aloneness experienced by the tree - which can easily represent our life experiences. Beautifully presented.

Gypsy,

What a beautiful Haiku. Where do you come up with all your great idea. You are the Haiku Queen. I love the picture. I love a weeping willow.

Great job

My muse is being elusive these days. Too much noise in my background.

I have a great fondness for weeping willow trees. I can easily visualize this one standing alone near a pond. I really like how you combine "sorrow" and "weeping" to suggest a great sadness that could affect us all. Rod

Lovely imagery and personification in this blue-tinted verse about the weeping willow, forever sad. I like the idea of its "roots deep in sorrow." Well done, Gypsy. Take care Debbie
