You are right, as we sing in church "take it to the Lord in prayer." It is wonderful how the Lord wanted to share what God can do for you.
Your picture, colors, and font are very nice.
Good luck with your poem.

I love these kinds of poems, that give the glory to God. I especially enjoyed this line," Talk to God whenever you can." I pray as much as I can during the day for His grace.

Thank you for sharing your delightful verse, clearly composed and inspired by your strong faith. I like the message woven through it that Jesus is our example and inspiration and we should speak freely to God to seek guidance from his Heavenly plan. Well done, Willie. Take care Debbie

This is a wonderful poem of faith written in lovely rhythm and rhyme which makes it a joy to read it rolls off the tongue and of course an important message portrayed for all. Well done, great job.
Best Wishes

Hi Willie
Despite the differing rhyme schemes among the stanzas the poem flows well with all the miracles and preaching He did to teach his followers of that time and now. It includes a lot of his life.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Have a great rest of the day and week.

A much needed poem on prayer for these unprecedented days. Prayer works and there isn't some magical way of going about it. just talk to God like you would talk to anyone and He will understand the meaning in your heart. Very nice.

I love your theme of talking to God. It comes through clearly in your words. Your faith based poem has a smooth flow and is a good poem to read out loud. "And God's people learned how to pray," is a wonderful life that impacts the reader.

I agree. This is well written.
God can hear everyone's prayers and knows all of our hearts. I wrote a version of the Sermon on the Mount as a poem, too. It's one of my favorite passages from the Bible. I'm Greek American and Greek Orthodox so I have learned about Jesus's Life, from very young.
Peace and best wishes,
Alex

I talk to God every night by my altar. I love the sermon on the mount.
Excellent poem with good rhyming and meter that doesn't sound forced. The presentation is beautiful.
Well done!
