A thoughtful 7/7 to follow DoveMarie's 5/7/5 in the Renga book. Your first line is peaceful and calm, and then hope bursts forth in the second line, creating a sense of joy and surprise. Nicely written! Blessings. Carol

Thanks so much for the super review and rating, Carol.
We prayed for you and Mitch again today.
Hugs!

Thanks much for the prayers. Mitch did a good job on his sermon today. He managed to stand the entire time, which is amazing, since he has been somewhat unsteady all week.

Wow! Thank the Lord! I'm so happy to hear it! Continued prayers! 💞💖🙏

Thank you. Sorry I hit the Save button before I typed my message. I'm soooo tired! Heading to bed. Hugs!

No, I found that picture. I have seen fruit tree branches like that. Two houses ago, we had pear trees. Sometimes I would cut the swollen bare branches and put them in water to watch them bloom indoors in a vase. Thanks so much, Santha! Hugs!

It truly is a miracle how a tree which sometimes looks dead in the midst of winter will be revived as the season loses its grip and the sun starts to reassure it's presence. Beautifully written. Gretchen

Yes, there is life - we can see it's bumpy emergence long before the blooms. Thanks so much, Gretchen! Hugs!

I am always amazed at nature and how it strives and clings to life, even in the winter and your few words are uplifting, warm and nurturing here Helen, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

-Very nice artwork and presentation, Helen.
-You did a good job with this part of the Renga.
-Effective nature and seasonal imagery
describing branches in winter.
-A very good second line about
hopes and dreams bursting forth
like the buds on the branch.
-Very well done.

This is a beautiful follow up that highlights hope through the wintry seasons of life to emerge as budding blossoms in the spring. Great entry to the book!

Thanks so much, June! I wish I could do more but haven't had time. I'm so glad you are contributing to the book and all of Gypsy's clubs! Hugs!

So many plants and animals sleep away the harshness of winter, but we know they will burst out in color soon, and that always gives us hope. Spring was a favorite time of year in New England - those bursts of color got us humans up and moving too:-)
Nicely done, Helen.

Ah, you must miss the seasonal changes of New England. Well, maybe not the snow shoveling and ice scraping part. It's something I didn't like about Hawaii - just hot seasons followed by hotter. Lol. Thanks for reviewing, Pam! Hugs!

That is the time of year that is full of hope for the future. The buds of new life. Your Renga couplet is perfect for showing the beginning of Spring, and the picture, it's a perfect match for your fabulous words. Well done, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Great picture to accompany your two lines. I like the idea of hope bursting out of those bare branches. Yes, the trees get their time of respite, but with renewed energy they're ready for spring. judi

Thanks for reviewing, Judi! How are you feeling? Is the Oxervate working? Hugs!
-
You're welcome. The book was a great idea. I just started on the Oxervate today. The problem is the elaborate system of getting the medicine from the container into the dropper. Thankfully, I have aides who are helping with that. The treatment continues for 8 weeks. judi

I'm glad you have trained people to help you! Debi said she has to use a new syringe each time. Sounds complicated. Hope it really helps! 💖
-
Yes, It is a complicated procedure. I am glad I have someone to help. The box the stuff came in weighed 22 pounds. Thanks for your review and comments. I hope spring will revive my ancient limbs. judi
