Ditto on your sentiments. Not only are the no-wins frustrating, but they're poorly attended, so what is even the point. I complained to Tom a few months back. In 28 days there were exactly 2 open prose contests sponsored by the 'committee'. He said he'd look into it. Now we get one every 7-10 days. The rest are no win, or all that poetry.
And you're right, the one for thanksgiving absolutely should have been open.

I'm very sad. I want to read your story about the potato peeler... it's so sweet that you were thankful for your potato peeler!

Thank you for the great review, Julie. Yes, hopefully some day they'll get rid of that.

I didn't even save the peeler piece after that. After a sober reread, it wasn't actually all that hilarious. Lol.
