I'm sure you've been told this, but you have gremlins in the paragraph that begins "As CJ, you were rich and famous . . ."

I understand that Matthew's last name is Donatelli, but when you use them interchangeably, it becomes confusing to the reader.

Well, you really left us hanging this time, Carol, but I have a pretty good idea of what it will tell her.

I really enjoy your dialogue and the pace at which the story moves. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Thanks for letting me know that the "bugs" got into my writing.... I thought it wasn't that sweet. LOL But I've got out the "eliminator" had it's taken care of...thanks! Glad you enjoyed the chapter.

I hope Eleanor investigates the painting she saw. After all, doors can't keep her out. Donatelli was a nasty as he could get. Why doesn't he want to talk to Jenna? She needs a friend if he can be nothing more to her. Why didn't she report the rape?

You know, Donatelli...jumping to conclusions and getting all out of shape. This time he might have jumped too far! Troubles on the horizon.

What a cliffhanger to leave your chapter on, Carol. I really felt for Jeanna and I know the pain it will cause for her if the result does turn out to be positive. I can't wait to read the next chapter. I really enjoyed it.

Yes, Jenna is pregnant. From the rape, but it sounds as if she spent a night with Matthew. I am curious where and how you're going to handle this. This is a good write, and I enjoyed reading.

Matthew won't handle the situation well at all...he always jumps before he knows where he is landing. Hopefully, he hasn't jumped too far this time.

Oh no. I was afraid that was where Jenna's nausea was headed! I hope that's not the case but it doesn't look good. Great chapter, Carol. Thanks for sharing.

All the way through this I have been thinking, pregnant, pregnant.
A mix of going through it 4 times with my lot and nurse brain kicking in, mixing, matching and coming up with more than just random numbers.
If you hadn't ended the way you did, this comment would have been just the same LOL
Catch you on the next one
Tim

I am a dad 4 times over and each time I knew she was pregnant before she did and chased her with a kit; also, before I retired I was a registered nurse so the symptoms you wrote were screaming at me.
So, I hope that clarifies my bit of a weird review LOL

Great job again. This left me eager to see how Jenna's journey unfolds - especially her relationship with Matthew. And how she confronts her trauma. The looming uncertainty creates such an interesting story that really draws me in. Excellent writing again!

Carol,

Another excellent chapter to your book. Like the talented author you are you leave your audience hanging on the edge. I can't wait for the next chapter to see if Jenna is pregnant as I suspect she is. I'm curious to see if she is and what she's gonna do about it.

Thank you for giving me the chance to read this great story from the beginning.

Cecilia

Oh dear, what a bloody idiot Matthew was. If something happens with Jenna now... I'm thinking she is pregnant, and she is in no state to carry a child, especially a child from a rapist. What will she do? Eleanor is the best person to talk to. Jenna can't go on like this. This is an area that will need to be written carefully. There are many young women who have found themselves in this position. Rapists should not only be sent to prison, they should have it cut off!!!!! I can't wait for the next chapter. Well done, my friend. Love and hugs, Sandra xxx

Good morning, my dear. I sent you a message on facebook...a picture actually.

Jenna is going to have to face the problems instead of burying them, but it will take some time. Just the fact that she has hidden the rape from herself and others says a lot about her stability. I agree rapists and molesters don't deserve to be treated as humans... they steal something from a person that can't ever be given back. Glad you enjoyed this chapter.

As for Matthew, he's about to dig himself into a big, dark hole!

    Smiles, hugs, and love, Carol
