This is a beautiful poem with lovely presentation and gorgeous imagery, I really like the sentiment within 'lost in Life's time'. Well done and good luck with the contest.
Best Wishes

There are so few syllables to marvel our minds and send us searching for the Webster as well. Absolutely stunning photo and words. Thank you for sharing.

Dear Yvette,
This is lovely and you get an extra star for posting something my retinas can lock on to, so, thank you for that! And a great vocabulary word: susurrations, which I believe means: murmurings.

Beautiful offering in an economy of syllables. My very best wishes for the contest too.

Hey, hey -- will have to remember that about the neons! :-) And wow, Lady Sal, what a wonderful gift those stars are -- thank you for the reminder of your shining smile they reflect in this one (hooray for neons!!)... And an 'A' for your vocab of the day... Thanx so much for stopping by on this shorty, my lady! ;) Have a great week out there! ;) Yvette

Naah... just memories that seem to bring on new meaning given current circumstances, I guess... can't overthink these things, ya know? :) :) Thanx so much for stopping by on this shorty, my lady! ;) Have a great week over there! ;) Yvette

This is a beautiful piece we can all relate to. Reflecting now and then conjures memories long hidden, but never Should do well in the contest. I enjoyed the read.

A very interesting poem with even my linguistic wife not knowing what susurrations was until I looked it up, and yes, an excellent word, they say one learns something new every day, well done, beautifully written Yvette, well done, good luck, blessings Roy

This short poem suggests that dragonflies' images inspire colorful 'dappled' thoughts. Caught alliteration in "Stir susurrations" that made me think of the Spanish verb "susurrar." This poem is strong enough maybe to use again later on in a longer poem. Good luck in that contest!

I like your using of these big words so I had to find out what they mean. It seems very philosophical. You are in this deep thinking mood. I read many times still don't get the meaning of this poem but I like the rhyming.

Well done.

Your ability to achieve so much in a confined space is remarkable. What others do with poems of only 20 syllables is always a treat and in this case quite impressive.

Another gorgeous poem! I never thought of dragonflies or their reflections as "Dappled aberrations" but it works! And I liked your alliterative "Stir susurrations" which also employs onomatopoeia. Best wishes in the contest!
