Oh if only. I hate racism so much. You have written such a very powerful poem. I particularly like 'Those that will replace us'. Very thought provoking. Well done. Best wishes Jen.

Thank you Jen. If there is a particular thing that it is ok to hate, then let it be hate.

This is a wonderful poem with a very strong and much needed message during these times. It seems every election the political ads get nastier, meaner, more divisive~and this year has been terrible. It's scary to see not only ethnic discrimination, but also gender, religion, sexual orientation, etc. I pray every day that common sense and decency and kindness will prevail. Thank you for this great poem. Well done!

The most frightening aspect about the current trend of events for me is that they dovetail to prophesied scriptures. Which ultimately means, the end is near.

I am wholly liking this poem. It is the easiest subject to write about, because we all, sadly, hate something. It is also the most difficult to get your true sentiment espoused. Every word in the English language is nothing but a word until you put an emotion behind it. Hate is a BAD emotion. You, sir, did it right. God Bless.

Just keep writing. I do it for PTSD. You do it for love. I want that connection with writing.

Words no better said. I share your emotions and revulsion. This election isn't about two people with differing views, but whether hate will become the norm. I'm rooting for hate to lose. Your poem is so sensitive and thought provoking. "A garden of hostility, thus grown from this hateful seed". Your visuals are both sickening and hopeful. Your words are so true. I am cautiously optimistic. Thank you for sharing this. Come Nov 6th, I hope we both have something to rejoice about. Be well, Frank.

Your words lift my spirits. Right now, my hopes for the future look pretty grim. It is responses like yours that give me hope and a renewal of hoped for joy in the future. Thank you.

You're very welcome. Let's hope together. Be well.

Dear Nomi, there are people who live a life against God's rules; they don't seem to see that regardless of colour, we are ALL His children, created by Him. Who are these people who would destroy God's children? One day they will have to face Him. That will be the day of reckoning. Beautifully written, my friend. Love and hugs, Sandra xx

Hello Sandra. Once again you have just the right words to lift my spirits at a time when they are hovering near the bottom of the barrel, and for that I thank you so much.

The Bible says, "Love thy neighbors." This applies to all of the world, not just some of it. You are correct, Nomi. We have had plenty of time to get over this foolishness. This is the perfect piece to bring this world together.
God bless,
Steve

Thank you Steve. My problem is there are some who cannot get along with the guy who lives next door, so there is no hope for him to be able to get along with the neighbor who lives in China, or Russia, Africa, or even Canada.
-
That's unfortunate for him, he's missing out in this life. We have all lived next to someone like that. All we can do is stand proud and pray for them.
-
I agree totally.
-
Thank you.

My pleasure.

How can a world that has experienced all the pain and sufferings of war, genocide and atrocities, prejudiced hatred and discrimination, and still have warped minds who stand up against his brothers in Christ. Oh, I know, they aren't of this world, they aren't brothers in Christ, they are Satan's chosen distractors sent to fan the flames. Great job! Thanks for sharing.

Your words are spot on correct and accurate. Our mission is to not become distracted by their divisive tactics. Recognize them for what they are and move on.

Ever presidential campaign becomes more hostile than the preceding one, it seems. There is no happy ending this year regardless of who wins. I bought a pin I saw online that reads I Vo(mi)ted Today. I always used to love the feelings that came with entering and then leaving the voting booth on Election Day. It was pure, unbridled elation. Not this time. xoxox

Yes, I hear you loud and clear. It is impossible to enter a storm of defecation and emerge spotless. Thank you for your thoughtful expressions.

I watch The United States from across the pond and fear for its potential future.
Its very name seems like a sad joke these days, United???
I hope you are well, and keep well through this turbulent time and that one day, things may actually start to get better.
Your work was heart felt, emotive, and expressed your fears and hopes strongly and profoundly.

Thank you Tim. I have very real fears for the future of this country. My fears are expanded when AI think about how this will affect my adult children and their children as well. I have 3 great grand children.

Hi Nomi,
You speak from experience, I'm sad to say. Yes, this Earth is big enough for all of us as you stated so well. We are missing so much by having any animosity toward any races of people! Is it ignorance, fear, stupidity or evil that causes racism? I have wondered this all my life. Yes, your poem brings up the subject that needs to be settled once and for all ... let's "get over" the squabbling between races. Your well written poem illuminates the need for a complete embracing of our neighbors, reveling in the differences. We all might learn something and learn to enjoy and truly love those who are unlike ourselves. Thanks for sharing such a timely post.
All the best,
Senyai

What a beautiful and exotic name. I have gained so much from my interaction with people from different cultures. Some of the lessons have been painful as I have had to learn that certain things I might have said, thought , and expressed were unintentionally hurtful. I would never want to be guilty of insulting anyone or their culture. I have learned to be cautious when talking to someone from a culture that is different from my own. I also have learned to not be overly sensitive in that same regard.
