I'm sorry your mom has dealt with this often-debilitating condition.
I lost my mom to a brain aneurysm 37 years ago. When I read of a FanStory member who has had such a wonderful recovery I know how blessed they are!

    Thanks for the review,

Beautiful poem and comforting that Wayne and Rhonda are surrounded by so many friends. I've seen a number of these books for others. This is the second or third I've seen for Rhonda. I have nothing at the moment to add, but will send them a note just the same. Thanks for sharing this. Be well, Frank.

HI kanenina, Great story about blessings, prayer warriors, and coming back from a stroke. I'm glad Wayne was able to get help in time, and I'm glad he recovered. I will put in some prose in the multi-author book. Dove

Thank you, God, for hearing those prayers and allowing him to text help. I am happy to hear he is doing better. They can reverse strokes now if they catch them in time. Prayers will continue for Rhonda's husband, Wayne.
God bless,
Steve

    Thanks, Steve...

God has blessed Wayne and his family, and his medical care must surely have caught this stroke in time...

Hello Karen,
what an outstanding poem for Wayne. I'm so glad he got the help he needed in such a timely manner, and knowing that so many people are interceding for him and Rhonda has to be encouraging. Thanks so much for doing this and sharing.
Have a blessed evening gal.
Tom

That newly installed phone app literally saved his life!

If ever I get a cell phone I'll install it!

I read Debi's initial call for prayer and it didn't register she'd started a book!

Once I reviewed several more it dawned on me.

Wayne is blessed with such a turnaround from ICU to well enough to be griping about hospitals! (smile)

    Prayers continue!

    Many Thanks,

    Karenina

I wasn't on fan story all day until last thing before bed and saw the posts and thought oh no! What can happen in a day, that goodness this was a good outcome xx

This was an amazing poem. Thank God that Wayne survived. That must have been terrifying for all involved. You did a great job conveying the fear of all concerned.

    Yes, they have...
I didn't realize when Debi posted her prayer request it was a multi-author book until I reviewed Helen's and Debbie D's -- then I read them all!

    Thanks, Liz--

Hi Karen, thank you for sharing this. Your poem is beautifully written in heartfelt lines and verses. Of special note:

Yet nothing's truly in our hands,
God stands at heaven's gate...

("He holds the whole World in His hands," indeed.)

A poem from the heart. Silky rhyming. Well done. It's good to see you in print again. Xo. Margaret ~ LateBloomer

    Thank you so much, Margaret.

Maybe this was my one poem/post for October... I have the muse with me so infrequently!

Six stars! You are very generous!

    Thank you and Blessings!
