This is very well written and it flows well. When it is read aloud I only problem with it is that I always have trouble reading work that is black font on a reddish color or orange color at all because of my vision problems if you were to put it on a tan color it would show up much better. Patricia.

Thank you so much--I was trying for fall color because the artwork was so bland.

After reading your words, I feel bad for scarecrows. There is emotion and feelings in your poetic form and use of words. "Stuffed all full of itchy straw" is a great line that makes the reader have empathy for the scarecrow. Excellent free verse form that creates a clear picture.
