Good Lord, Rachelle!
What a hoot!
My own parents had a dear friend, Betty O'Brien, who spoke just like your "nut job"... but only in the presence of my beloved father. "OOOOOHHHHHHHHHH DANNNNNNNNNN! YOU ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUNNY!" And, yes, even as a little ten-year-old, I knew Mrs. O'Brien had the "hots" for "DANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!"

Just a delightful read, Rachelle!
Much enjoyed!
Onward!
fondly,
diane

Thank you for sharing this addition with us. I enjoyed reading. I am sure this 'nut job' is going to be hilarious.

he gives me another tight hug and whispers "She does not take 'no' for an answer. I'm so, so sorry." (whispers,)

Love it, and I am laughing at this wonderful chapter! Now, what else could possibly go wrong?! Your imagination - and Gretchen's are both superb!. Well done. Hugely entertaining.

We complement each other really well. We both have a slightly warped and wicked sense of humor and see life from the same bent little angles. Thanks for this very nice review, Wendy. Xo

I'm just so impressed that you sang/sing in operas I can hardly stand it, and then had opera students, or still do, as well as your other students. Busy, but I bet most rewarding.
This is a funny chapter with a gut-wrenching new addition to the cast. Lawsy! You could impale her on one of your new stiletto heels!
Happy Trails to you!

I am glad your change of clothes arrived in your brand new car and you have the prospect of moving forward with your trip now. It is a pity you have an obnoxious additional guest for the journey, but perhaps you can shake her off along the way! Ha ha ha, another fine chapter you share with Gretchen, much enjoyed, love Dolly x x x

I may have to use my No Nonsense Teacher Voice on her, Dolly! Lol.

Thanks for this terrific review and, of course, for the Exceptional review, replete with extra star. I always appreciate your generosity. xoxo

All I can say is, that car is going to be overflowing! Think of all the people, and then there's all the clothing. I'm glad Tova's clothing choices were just perfect. Great job with Tova's friend, who just had to meet Rachelle. I love the way you show her speech. Rebekah will have a lot of doubts and questions, as going to New York will be such a different experience for her. I like that Rachelle has everything planned out well, down to where she'll stay and the cell phone for Rebekah. Delightful and enjoyable. I hope no one gets carsick as they get underway. jusi

I think poor Rebekah's going to get the biggest education imaginable spending time in the same car as crazy Jane! She'll be missing home after an hour! (No doubt Rachelle and Gretchen will be missing Amish Country soon, too.)

Thanks for the very nice review, Judi, and the extra star, as well. Very much appreciated. xoxo

Well, that's a twist, getting the nut job along.
So... it's just you, Gretchen and Rebekah in your car?
Do you plan to continue the tale through the FanStory convention?

No, it's Rebekah, Gretchen, NUT JOB and me.
And, yes, we're continuing the story through to the convention, and actually afterward, as well, since we have to return Rebekah home AND get Gretchen home, as well, or get Old Reliable up and running again! So, stay tuned!! xoxox

LOL, that joke was funny. Is Bobby a Jewish husband by way of marriage? Do you allow him to speak?

I loved your description of the outfit - right down to shoes and accessories. And, of course, a hat. You've got everything you need to keep that Jane bitch in line now that you have your cherry red Wonder Woman outfit with the cinched waist:-)

I'm really enjoying these stories that you and Gretchen are telling us, and the two different perspectives. But I believe I'm going to miss Amish country! How can any narrative beat that?

Looking forward to next week's chapter.

xoxo

(Stunningly stupendous shiksa - you can call me "triple-S"

How about you just go by SSS?

Eventually we'll have to return to Amish Country, because (a) Rebekah will need to go home and (b) we'll have to retrieve Old Reliable!

Bobby is, by nature, a very quiet man. When it's just him and me, he's chatty as can be - and hilarious, too, I might add - but in groups? He's that metaphoric fly on the wall. Rarely speaks.

This is very well written, and I enjoyed listening to it. It's kind of like hearing the rest of the story after having read the story that Gretchen had written about the situation. You both have done a wonderful job with this project and I have enjoyed it. Patricia.
