I enjoyed your poem. It is very descriptive and well written. I have only been here at Fanstory about 6 months and I agree with you about Debi. She writes poems for everyone and now it is turn. Very colorful. Very good job.

This is a lovely poem tribute to Debi and Glen in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary. And I've now discovered a new type of poem also, a very interesting construct. Nice job!

-Lovely artwork and nice presentation, Rhonda.
-Your notes are appreciated.
-You wrote a good tribute for Debi and Glen's
fiftieth anniversary. A major milestone in a relationship.
-I like the first verse and how you divide it between Debi and Glen,
giving many of their special qualities.
-A very nice tribute to fifty years together in the second verse.
-You don't get there without "loving and sharing."
-You do a good job with the various aspects of a relationship.
-It is definitely a jubilee.
Happy Fiftieth Anniversary, Debi and Glen, a major milestone.

Hi Pam,
Thank you for your review of the poem, and for finding the various aspects of it, which were thought out. I appreciate you noticing. With you, I wish the happy couple many more years of bliss.
Take care,
Rhonda

Sorry my sixes are all gone. I offer ponder on the best feature of Fanstory, but this poem, along with the previous one just reviewed, answers that thought precisely. Someone else penned a tribute to Debi and Glen. Your generosity truly amazes me. And I agree totally with your final two words. Fanstory writer's really rock.

Hi Bob, thank you so much for the virtual 6, Bob. I'll take that any time! I also appreciate your comments on the poem. I think there have been 9 tributes, last I counted, for Debi. I'm sure there have been more since. I hope she enjoys reading them as much as I did writing one.
Take care,
Rhonda

The shape of your poems makes an attractive accompaniment to the picture you chose. It is quite an accomplishment to share your life with another for fifty years, especially in this day and age.

Hi Rhonda. I'm so amazed at the work that goes into restricted or types of poems with rules. When it rolls off my tongue it seems so genuine and fluid that fits. It looks effortless, when I know its not. I tip my hat.

Hi Stan! Thank you so much for your review and comments! You?re right on all the rules for poetry, which is why I don?t write them often, or if so, I keep it simple. One of the few I?ll try is the diamante, just because I like them, but thanks for saying it flowed well!
Take care,
Rhonda

What a fabulous pair of diamante poems! I found this form rather hard to do but how perfect that you used it to celebrate both Debi and Glen! Great anniversary poem!!

Hi Helen!
I don?t try the fancy stuff often, but I wanted it to seem like a diamond ring. It was fun, though I?m not sure how closely I followed it correctly, lol.
Thanks again,
Rhonda

Well, it was bound to happen as I read through these chapters. I've run out of sixes! This is truly deserving, as the Diamante was an excellent pick to tie in bride and groom, beginning to Golden Fifty!
I think Debi must have a smile on her face a mile wide as she reads these tributes.
Great job!
You're so right -- she does so much to honor FanStory Birthdays and more, it's only fitting that she has her turn in the spotlight!
Virtual Six!

Oh Karenina,
You are so right about Debi being so deserving of the tribute, and I suspect you had a hand in this as well, and I will take that virtual six in a heartbeat.
I?m glad you picked up on the diamante being a diamond ring tribute to the bride and groom. It was fun to step out of my comfort zone to honor a sweet lady. I do hope she?s enjoying the tributes rolling in.
Hugs,
Rhonda

I did pick up on that! (If I was Debi, I'd be nudging Glen and reminding him that 60 years is the DIAMOND anniversary, so he can start saving now!

Rhonda I thoroughly enjoyed your double diamanté poem. I'm glad you described it in your notes because I am not familiar with poetry. But I I do know diamanté is diamonds, and that is precisely what your poem is for Debi & Glen, a diamond.
Thank you for sharing.

John, that is so sweet. I wanted it to be like a diamond ring.
I'm not well versed in poetry, but I know a few. I've always liked the diamante because it doesn't rhyme, lol.
Thank you so much,
Rhonda

Another fine write, Rhonda....and I great gift to Debi and Glen you're honoring. Proof that writing can be used in a positive way; With our political rhetoric used as a weapon, sometimes we need the reminder

Hi Mike,
Thank you for the review and comments. I couldn't agree more about taking time out to write something with a positive influence since political does tend to be destructive (not meaning yours). We do need a reminder.
Thanks again,
Rhonda

You can include mine, although I try not to respond negatively to specific people, with name calling and such, although I'm thinking it

Lol, I get you!! I don't bother to try. I'm not PC enough, nor patient enough to write about politics. You can do it for us both!
