Beautiful poem, Helen, in tribute to Debi and Glen's 50 years of marriage. This was so nicely written and presented with a wonderful picture too.
What is the significance of Rubik's cubes and post-it notes to Debi and Glen? Just curious. My oldest grandson is really into cubing, as cubers call it, and is extremely fast in solving them. He owns many--from simple 2x2s up to 13x13s and a variety of odd ones too, for example in the shape of a dodecahedron. He can solve them all.

Yes, my grandson has all those, too. He learned from watching videos and he was very fast - just seconds to solve kinds of "cubes" and he would have gone to a tournament but it was 2020 and they canceled it due to the pandemic. He hasn't been into them as much now. Back to baseball. Our grandsons probably have a lot in common including a love of math.

This is quite lovely. I had 52 years of marriage, but it required three men. I have two good adult men that are independent as I raised them to be. Thank goodness for email, The youngest is in Alaska. Saturday is moving day. good work. Karen

The couple sees their children grow up, and they are tested by the problems of old age. They can take pride in their achievements and their fifty years together. Great reference to the oak, and beautiful rhyme throughout. judi
