Lovely artwork and photo, presentation, notes, and poem, Debi. You did a great job with all of it. A wonderful love poem for your special anniversary. Using couplets worked very well for all of the description and rhyme.
You do a good job with the early days of your marriage. It had to be wonderful, but trying at times, too. You didn't need a matchmaker to make you a match! I like this line:
"I loved you from near, loved you from afar." I also like how young love becomes
love "with deeper insight," and I agree with that. I like the last two couplets that conclude your poem. Very well done, and what a wonderful accomplishment in your relationship to together.

You truly make me feel so good about the what I was hoping to get across. What is so important to me after fifty years of marriage.
What makes me really feel weird is that I have been 50 years married and I am still in my sixties. That feels so strange. LOL..

I loved your poem with it's rock-a-bye lines. You have actually added a waltz into your lines - read out loud, it's definitely you and Glen slow waltzing. Even tho' you couldn't dance, God never gives us more than we can bear. Glen is your rock and without being 'sloppy' he must be a good listener. You talented woman that can talk under concrete! love, Kay. xx

Oh, Carol, thank you so very much. I truly appreciate the touching review as what you have been dealing with too has been so hard on you guys. I still pray for you every night so I hope things are looking up.
We had a wonderful celebration. We couldn't have had a nicer day, but I ended up home early on ice and in bed. Which was ok because it still was a great day.
What a great day it was tho and I will never forget all of you here for all the sweet messages and congrats. I have never been more touched in my entire life.

I am so glad you liked my inside and outside rhymes, Jess. I do love the style too, and actually changed it so many times that I believe there is no true version. However, I thank you for the loveliest words and for being so supportive. Yes, he thought it was beautiful. I will email you the one he got,
I do them a little different now since I sent you yours that time.
