Well you found a way to work the purchase of a watermelon into leaving Noah open to a drive by shooting. I could see you trying to steer in a focused track here, keep the focus on the character of Noah, who seems to care about Sami, even though he appears kind of business like. The path to romance is laid out. But the suspense is there too, the danger is in the wings. estory

Another excellent well written chapter Barbara with brilliant dialogue. I really like how you're gradually revealing more about the characters. The only thing I wasn't sure about was the picture you chose and I had to scroll quickly past it, but that's, of course, just my opinion. I really enjoyed your latest post.

Thank you for the kind review. As for the photo, I wanted to show you can get hurt even with the vest on.

I'm glad Sami is feeling a little better about Noah. She and Sarah get along will. I guess agents like Noah are aware the in the work they do that might be hurt or killed. I glad he will be okay.

Good that Sarah explained the situation to Sami. I was surprised she refused at first to read the note from Noah - she seems a bit stubborn and naive, unaware still of the danger she was putting herself into while trying to be a heroine. But now, Noah is in danger for having rescued her. Well written.

Noah is lucky, it would appear that he might have been followed. I am sure that he will be more careful in the future. I also believe that there will be a measure of payback at some point. Seeing as how Noah is supposed to be some kind of gangster, an arrest would not be in keeping with the reputation and lifestyle.

It's good that Sarah had that heart to heart talk with Sami and was able to show her what kind of man Noah is. Sami is so hard-hearted even not reading the note until Sarah talked with her. I'm glad she's finally turning around and it helps that they agree to say Noah "rescued" her not "bought" her and even risked his life to get her a watermelon. All the other characters seem to be really good people so I hope Sarah starts to appreciate that.

Hi Barbara,
This chapter moves very quickly as we learn about Sami and her increasing forgiveness of Noah. She had a reason to be mad at him as he seemed to humiliate her and take her away from her world as she knew it.

I like the way Sarah has stepped in to make her more comfortable and to form a bridge between Sami and Noah.

Funny the way Sami sneaked a peak at the abs!! She couldn't be too mad at him.

Great job,
Rhonda

Not even getting shot seems to slow Noah. Sami sure knows how to keep a mad on. If Noah hadn't saved her, she might already be dead, and it would do the girls she is trying to save no good at all. One missing word: Just say what ( ) want."

Another great addition. I like this one.

Some issues herewith this sentence:

hear. Just say what want."
(Maybe missing a word?)

Keep it up!
