Interesting facts at the end of the chapter. I'm wondering if you researched sex trafficking. You do an amazing job with your story. It would be a difficult subject to write about if you didn't know the facts.

This is a tense chapter, Barbara. Chen sounds like a really nasty piece of work and I am glad that Sami has got protection, at least for the moment. Excellent dialogue. I really enjoyed reading it. Looking forward to the next chapter.

I can understand how Sami would be angry over basically being held against her will, though it's obviously for her own good. Her age, while a plus if trying to attract a pimp, is working against her in terms of maturity, and knowing how much danger she could be in. Unfortunately, criminals don't operate with the same set of standards that those of us who obey the law do. Thanks for sharing.
