I have it on my bucket list to get up north and see the aurora bourealis. I've seen pictures, but I think it must be one of those things that you have to see in person to truly appreciate it.
Perfect word count. I like the personification of the northern lights as you bring her life and add to her mystery as she vanishes into the night.

This is lovely. I've only seen the Northern Lights a few times but they were spectacular. I can only imagine what the first peoples thought when they saw the glorious aurora borealis dancing across the sky. The picture your son took is amazing. Good luck in the contest.
