I came in in the middle of this story, so had to try and bring the story together, I did not edit it or check for grammar, as I am reading for pleasure, I can not wait to read more of your book.

I like that Miranda is so normal, with insecurities just like everyone else. I am enjoying the read, and I think you are pacing it very well with reflective times interspersed with action. Well done.

Hi, Gretchen. This was a very tender, subtly revealing chapter for our main character. After catching Missy in the act, unable to hide from the fact that she (Miranda, I mean) is aging, she needs warm lies to the contrary. Aaron proves himself to be the friend she needs right now. Of course, we all know it must go beyond that ... sometime. I love your delicate control of the characters.
