I will have to agree with your wife. She sounds like a wise lady - as most wives must be. *smile*

The first part of your piece perfectly addressed the contest description. The second part... seemed to follow a bit of a rabbit's trail. I might suggest moving that to a different piece? But you do you. hahaha

I thought about dropping you a line before submitting as you originated it. Was it that bad? I softened it saying it's a business and I wish I had a solution/suggestion but what might that be. Help.?.

I started to and read it again. I could do as suggested though comments so far have been positive and some have expressed thinking the same. Still, it is likely best I do so. :()

Well, my friend, your reason for writing needs to be embraced by anyone old enough to know who a Ferlinghetti is. I was in San Francisco in the early sixties and snapped my fingers in applause for Lawrence Ferlinghetti's poetry reading.
