A very sweet tribute to your Mama. She sounds like a very wise lady. I think about my mom everyday too. Mama's are always there no matter how long they have been gone. Mine will have been gone 21yrs in July. Hard to believe. She would be 93 in Aug, she died too young. Really well done. Your mom had lots of wisdom. =]

My Bday is Aug too! Out of the 7 in my fam, 5 of us had Aug bdays. My sis Connie is the only child not born in Aug and my one bro and I were born on the same day! When we got older we had one party. It was so much eaiser. We also had a close friend we concidered a brother who celebrated with us. He and my oldest bro had bdays the same day. It was some party. =]

We learn a lot from our mothers, Sally, or in my case from my grandmother and my dad. :) I wish I had more time with my mom, but life is what it is. Yet, when I wish to see her I shave my lip and smile (which I don't often) I see her smiling back at me. Your mom June seems to have been a loving mother. She had you, didn't she?
