Loved your piece, especially, "Go deep into my head, you'll see,the remnants there that once were me." Although all lines are terrific. You are able to consistently produce enjoyable work for your audience (and for yourself, I'm sure). After all, our own pleasure is what it's all about. Good job. Words work together perfectly.

Even if you didn't write your choice and use of graphics would enthrall most. Your writing, I compare to a snake. It scares me but I can't look at it enough. Ha. This particular poem, I feel, is one of your best. The talk of drawing someone past the point of no return into your mind is magnificent. Yes, you are a horror writer and the best there is. Congratulations, Dean. This is a masterpiece.

I think one can have a passion for a subject, Dean, but still not have the talent to back it up. You have both. That last picture was especially creepy! As always, very well done.
Happy New Year!

You are definitely a master of your craft too. In addition to being a terrific horror writer, you are also a fine artist and I love how you present your poems and stories. Great work with this one, I enjoyed this immensely.

Dean; what do you get those outstanding and incredulous pictures? I just love all of them all, including the ones you have posted that represents your poem so well, in this one. The imagery is so demonstratively descriptive and exquisitely expressive throughout your poem. You describe the inside of your head as a rotting mass of
dilapidated brains. Your rhyming is so well constructed that it is neither forced nor labored and so helpful in your rhythmic flow. Your tempo and meter are done so well that your rhythm flows smoothly throughout your writing. This poem really explains where you are coming from mentally. You're not a lost cause but actually perpetual hope as a distinctive and glorified poet of the deep. This date of what I don't know but deep in any case. Every poem that I read from you I'm astonished at your incredible way of using dismemberment and chilling attributes that mesmerize the reader and create an astounding darkened reality. Good for you I say. Thank you for sharing and posting and may you have a very happy new year that keeps on setting you apart from any other poet here.

Oh Spooky, this is a fabulous way to end the year...a terrific offering.
Love: there'll be no one to pull you free -- it's then that you'll belong to me.
A bit of darkness and fear from The Picture of Dorian Gray, a smattering of The Cask of Amontillado and a premium dose of Mike B's Danforth stories.
The almost off-handed ominous tone and the veiled threats make for a really chilling read. Obviously, I love it! Happy New Year. Jean

I will be the first to admit that I am not a horror fan, but this is tolerable for me. I admire this type of writing. If there is a existance of classy horror, this would be it. Thank you for putting a better spin on horror.
