Dean: I would give you trice times three fives as RGstar says. I know that you like horror and gripe the people in your stories. It makes one think and then read another. The Alfred Hitchcock ideas and your own history puzzle pieces make great stories. I read more than three of yours and will go back to read more. Oh my God where did you get that last piece of animation. Dean Kuntz and The great Steven King are on my list of favorite authors. I think most of us like to be frightened once in a while. Fear is definitely one of the stronger emotions. And I think if we can find it in reading material, that somehow it buffers some of life's more realistic fears.

I avoid horror films of any kind on the tv, except the real FBI files and the real live murderers who commit horrific crimes. It has to be a special passion to write good horror as your do, because I am sure you are a very nice guy and it would be ok to meet you in the dark.

A good friend who suffers from depression would certainly relate to this great inside-the-head darkness. I enjoyed the poem very much. If you made a small change from "Bring your own light" to "Bring a light" the meter might work just a little better - maybe, just a thought. I certainly am no writing expert having just joined Fan Story.
The "Horror" image you create in superb. Look forward to reading more of your poetry.

Great poem illustrating what illustrates you. I guess that's the whole trick eh? Finding out what it is that rocks your boat or in your case horror. Passion is the key.
