The words reflected your meaning in every sentence. My only fault with the writing is that it didn't read as smoothly as your other work. Keep up the great job.

    Hi there dear lady,
I agree it was a bit choppy in places. I wrote this one for fun, but I do need to go back and rework some areas. Thank you for your fine and through review.
    Love, Carolyn

Ok. I must admit that I am lost by the characters that you have described in this piece of work. I am still interested in your enthusiasm and maybe I will look this up. Good work.

I think you would enjoy the novels that Jax has written. She writes westerns for the most part, and does a great job with poetry as well. You would have to read some to get acquainted with the few characters I have mentioned. Thank you Tom for your wonderful support. :-) Carolyn

I am at present into the third book of the Allister series. I agree, Jax Franklin is a wonderful author and I am hooked, 100% on her writing.

You also have a talent with words, my friend. You put this poem together in a cool way as though you are advertising the Allister series. You even mention the different characters in the books. It is put together very well. I enjoyed reading this very good poem. Best wishes, my friend.

Always with respect,

Thank you to yet another Jax Franklin fan. She had me hooked with I first met Brianna and Chance and that awful, awful Luke. He had been a fine man at one time and the alcohol got him along the way. Much the same as it can tear families up in our own time. I appreciate what you have said about the poem. I enjoyed writing it... :-) Carolyn

Hah, well, just like author Paul Sheldon told Annie Wilkes in Stephen King's book, "Misery" -- "I have a hard and fast rule about those who're permitted to read my work before publishing. My editor, my agent, and anyone who saves me from freezing to death in a car accident". So, my advice to you, Carolyn, is somehow find a way to save our dear Jax from freezing to death after crashing her car. Should she ever find herself in such a precarious predicament, of course. LOL...

Good grief! You're totally screwed if she lives somewhere in the desert, or a warmer state. You have my deepest sympathies. Heh-heh...

Well done!

~Dean

Yep, she lives in the desert, darn.... She is a hoot.
BTW, Misery was a 'miserable' experience, he probably wished he had frozen....
Glad you enjoyed this one Dean, thank you for reviewing.

Carolyn, Oh my goodness, this is a fantastic poem written as a tribute to our friend Jax. She is a special author who will be very successful with her books. I used to encourage her to contact Clint Eastwood, because he could make a movie from her stories. Great work. Carole

    Hi Carole,
Or what about a 'mini-series', ... I have enjoyed all of her stories, and I love pestering her about write faster, write more, etc.... I absolutely love her.
    Thank you so much,
    :-) Carolyn

Right you are. She is talented. When she explains a character, I can see the person as if he is standing right in front of me. AND, by the way, your poem was written very well too! Carole
