What a gorgeous presentation, both in verse and the picture you have chosen to compliment it. Love the thought of understanding that slowly transcends. The closing line creates a vivid a and perfect image.

wonderful image. . panoply of peace, , , the word "Panoply" reads better silently that aloud, which is how I tend to read poems. Verbally, it is a word to stumble on. I cannot think of a better word though. . .

An excellent definition of tranquility descending not over night, but slowly. One nit:it's home (no apostrophe needed in this case.) Strong first and last lines.

You have a stunning picture of a violet twilight and to suit it perfectly an equally beautiful poem.God sends twilight slowly and gently which in turn allows peace to seep into the depths of your mind. this is a call to everyone not to neglect these everyday spectacle.like Wordsworth contemplation of god's glory(earth's beauty) will bring peace.

Dear Carolyn - my friend Jenny has a fabulous photo here and your words just marry it to create such an array of emotion. Loved this one - beautiful imagery, and grace for this moment. Wonderful work by two great artists.
Thanks for sharing it.
